*Additional embryos
If multiple embryos suitable for transfer are created during one OPU/ICSI cycle, the OPU and ICSI procedure fees are charged only once. Each additional frozen embryo is charged at €545 + VAT per embryo.

**Semen availability
For the current list of ICSI semen available through Scuderia SA or for allocation of exclusive stallions, please contact our team. Client-owned semen may also be used if it is already available at Avantea and is accompanied by the required veterinary documentation. Our team can also assist with transport arrangements to Avantea.

Fresh Embryo Transfer
For fresh embryo transfer, at least two synchronised recipient mares are recommended to maximise the chance of a successful transfer. Our team can provide recipient mares, subject to availability.

Pregnancy Fee Policy

A €500 pregnancy fee applies to mares confirmed pregnant on Day 14 if they leave the clinic before the third pregnancy examination.

This fee is fully refundable if the pregnancy is subsequently lost. Pregnancy loss examinations must be performed either at Scuderia SA or at one of our partner clinics.

If the mare is confirmed not pregnant on Day 45–50 with a valid veterinary certificate, the pregnancy fee will be refunded. For mares remaining at our clinic, the fee is settled before discharge. If the mare returns home earlier, the final invoice will be issued based on the certified pregnancy examination results.

The total treatment cost may vary depending on the mare's reproductive status, the duration of boarding and any additional medications or diagnostic procedures required during the breeding cycle.

Our experienced reproduction team closely monitors every stage of the insemination process to maximise the chances of successful conception while ensuring the highest standard of veterinary care.

Booking Confirmation

The date of your procedure will be confirmed at least five days in advance. Once the appointment has been scheduled, a prepayment invoice will be issued. The booking becomes confirmed after the required prepayment has been received.
